Planting tropical trees is scientifically proven to fight climate change and global warming. The average tropical tree sequesters 50 lbs or 22.6 kg of carbon per year, with more than 50% of its woody biomass made of carbon. While other trees sequester carbon, none are as efficient as tropical hardwoods. Since the average North American car produces some 12,100 lbs of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per year, you can offset some of your carbon footprint. Fund the planting of 250 tropical trees for just $399 USD and your car will be carbon neutral for 10 years. Fund 25 tropical trees for $50 and offset 12 months of CO2 emissions over a 10 year period. CO2 Tropical Trees is effective, good for the planet and good for you.

We have founded and operate a 10 square kilometer natural reserve in the Orinoco River basin called Reserva Natural La Pedregoza, where we plant native trees... more >>
This plantation area is very rocky, but ideal for tropical trees. We are presently planting cashew trees here, a native tree that does well in these conditions... more >>
We operate 2 tropical tree nurseries, one for fast growing plantation trees and one for native tree species. Both types of trees are good for sequestering carbon... more >>
As of 2011 our trees are sequestering 16,385 metric tons of carbon a year from the atmosphere. The more trees we plant, the bigger and better the results... more >>
