Our Program is based on planting sufficient tropical trees to neutralize
the carbon dioxide (”CO2”) emissions of the average North American car.
$2,470 (USD) allows us to raise 250 tropical hardwood trees from seed.
At 6 months the seedlings leave the nursery and are planted
in afforestation and reforestation areas, where
they are protected and maintained for 10 years.
Tropical trees are one of the best ways of removing
and sequestering CO2 from the Earth's atmosphere.
Our Program uses these calculations to help the
average consumer or fleet owner make their
vehicles
carbon neutral.
Here is how it works:
2,470.00 (USD) allows us to raise 250 tropical
hardwood trees from seed, plant and maintain
for 10 years.
At 6 months the seedlings leave the nursery and
are planted in afforestation and reforestation
areas, where they are protected and maintained
for 10 years.
We use fast growing tropical tree species
that mature within 10 years.
Scientists state that CO2 sequestration by
tropical trees is most effective in their first
10 years.
